With a maximum propagation delay of 8.5ns, this device is well-suited for high-speed data transmission, and its low input current of 1uA conserves power in battery-operated devices. The 3-state output feature allows for seamless integration into communication buses, enabling multiple devices to share the same communication line without interference.
