The MRF24J40MA-I/RM is a 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.15.4 radio transceiver module manufactured by Microchip Technology. It operates in the worldwide ISM band (2.4 GHz) and is ideal for low-power wireless applications such as home automation, industrial control, and sensor networks.This module features a range of up to 100 meters and supports data rates of 250 kbps, 1000 kbps, and 2000 kbps. It has a low current consumption of 19.5 mA in receive mode and 23.9 mA in transmit mode, making it suitable for battery-powered applications.The MRF24J40MA-I/RM also includes a built-in link quality indication (LQI) signal strength indicator, AES-128 encryption for secure data communication, and various power-saving modes to optimize energy efficiency. It is compatible with Microchip's proprietary MiWi and MiWi P2P wireless protocols, as well as IEEE 802.15.4 standard.
