ISL6398IRTZ-T

The ISL6398IRTZ-T is a smart and versatile 6-Phase Green PWM controller, specifically designed for networking, datacenter, and POL applications. With programmable functions and telemetries, this controller offers flexibility and ease of use, allowing for easy system customization using SMBus, PMBus, or I2C interface. Its ability to program NVM banks for up to 8 different compensations and system parameters minimizes external components and significantly reduces design complexity and PCB area, streamlining the manufacturing process. The ISL6398 utilizes Intersil’s proprietary Advanced Linear EAPP control scheme, which ensures an extremely fast linear transient response with fewer output capacitors, overcoming traditional digital approach hurdles such as beat frequency oscillation and non-linear response. Furthermore, the ISL6398 features auto-phase shedding for increased efficiency at light load and sustained heavy load transient response and efficiency. It also offers continuous output current monitoring, precision load line control, and integrated thermal compensation for thermal monitoring. Additionally, the ISL6398 features remote voltage sensing, eliminating potential differences between remote and local grounds to improve regulation and protection accuracy
